What is Destiny?
Follett Destiny Library Manager is a complete library management system that allows librarians and administrators to keep a thorough, real-time track of a library's inventory and media assets and gives students a fun means of discovery and reading. It allows students to search for content and select books needed to complete a task or simply for entertainment while providing usage data for librarians with Destiny reporting.
How to use Destiny:
- Type your search information in the Find Bar
- Next decide how you want to conduct your search. You may choose from keyword, title, author, subject or series. Click on the box.
- From here a list of books should appear. You may click on the Details for more information and/or use the call number to locate the selection.

2. Magnolia
What is Magnolia?
Magnolia is a project funded by the state legislature that provides online research databases for publicly funded K-12 schools, public libraries, community college libraries, and university libraries in Mississippi.
How to use Magnolia:
- Click on the link below
- Click on Search Databases
- Click on Explore Databases under the High School Grades 9-12 tab
- Type in the search criteria and begin
When searching you may choose to conduct a general search using the databases or you may choose a particular database related to your subject to search. A description for all databases is given on the Magnolia site. Some commonly used databases with CCHS students are:

- Literary Reference Center
- MAS Ultra - School Edition
